Are your courses for beginners or professionals?
This course caters to anyone, on any level! There’s so much information being shared that everyone can benefit. Some parts of the course cover fundamentals for beginners and others teach more advanced techniques, but everyone will learn.

Do I need to have any hair or makeup background?
The only course prerequisite is a love of all things beauty! Just come ready to learn.

What course materials will I need?
Each class will have a clearly detailed list of materials that you need to gather before you begin that class so you know exactly what to expect!

Is there a specific time period for enrollment?
Nope- you can enroll at any time!

How long do I have access to the course?
Your membership is valid forever! Once you become a Hair and Blush member, you will have lifetime access to our products and email support. But remember, once a video is started and that play button is pushed, you will have a specified amount of time to complete your viewing. After that, the video will be removed from your membership. You can progress through the course at your own pace, but once you choose to start a video, be sure you have the time to complete it within the specified amount of time. However, there is no pressure to start a new class so take your time and learn at your own pace.

Will I have to take a follow up course after this one?
Nope, this is it! Once and done. We created Hair + Blush Academy to give you everything you need to know to become a beauty professional.

But it’s not face to face- how much can I really learn?
Watching somebody's work and learning all their tips and tricks is very valuable and informative - plus, you can replay and replay (for a specified amount of time your course) until you’ve got it! And, you have the option of attending a supplemental, hands-on, in-person workshop for a small fee, open to Hair+Blush members only.

What if I get stuck?
You have direct access to us, Yocheved and Cami, to receive ongoing email support. No need to go it alone! We will guide you through.

Do the classes have to be viewed in a specific order?
We highly recommend that the course is viewed in class order, as each skill builds on previous classes.

How long will I have access to each video?
Once you begin a class, you will have a specified amount of time to replay. Be sure you have set up a block of time to learn and practice!

Why do I only have a specific amount of time to watch a class?
Being a part of Hair + Blush Academy is an exclusive opportunity- we value your investment and don’t want it to be diminished by having your paid-for classes used by non-paying individuals. We are aiming to protect your career investment with the time limit, maintaining your exclusive rights to the valuable information.

My schedule is so busy, what if I can’t keep up?
That’s the beauty of the online academy! Do it as you can, when you can. There is no time limit on when you need to complete all the classes!

I don’t want to be a hair/makeup professional. Can I take this course to improve my personal hair and makeup skills?
Sure! This hair and makeup course will enable you to create your own professional look. Learn all the tips and tricks to perfect your personal art!

When are the live workshops held?
The optional, live workshops will be held twice a year, to give you the best time to attend.

Do I need to complete the course before attending an in-person workshop?
Our workshops are open to all Hair+Blush students. You do not need to complete the course before attending, however, we highly recommend that you finish it before attending, as the workshop will be an opportunity for special requests, live demonstrations, and perfecting techniques.

Is there a fee to attend the live workshops?
Yes, while the workshop is only open to Hair+Blush members, there is an additional fee to attend the in-person session.

Do I need to attend the live workshop in order to receive a certificate?
No, as long as you complete the course, you will receive your Hair+Blush certificate. Attending the in-person workshop is optional.
